A Christmas Card I Made

This year I don't think that I can make 50 of the same kind of card.  I love this one but you only get 4 small sheets per pack.  So, I ordered 2 more packs but they are on backorder.  Hopefully I will get them soon and then I can make 12 of these cards.  They are not traditional like I always am but they sure are pretty and they remind me of my snow that I miss so badly at Christmas time.  One year, I will be in the mountains for Christmas.  Then I will see more snow.  This is not the card I made today for National Cardmaking Day - that card I will share tomorrow.

Stampin Up Demonstrator!

So, a while back I decided that I was really liked lots of stuff that the Stampin Up catalog. I wanted to do a great friend a favor as she was working on the incentive trip so I joined Stampin Up as a hobby demo.  I have had one customer but I am my own best customer.  I advanced to Bronze Elite fast but now I am pretty much done at that level as I need to find one demo underneath me.  Part of the reason why I started this blog was because I have had lots of people ask to see my cards.  I make lots of cards.  Now, I have to start sending the cards that I make.  Plus, I helped Mom make her 50th wedding Anniversary invites.  She designed them and I helped her cut/stamp, etc.  I love Stampin Up products and am always available for ordering or making cards with friends.  I sill go once a month to make cards with my friends and will never stop that.  So much fun to be had.  I also make around 50 cards for Christmas.  Sometimes they are the same but most of the time they are different.  I go to a retreat every year with those said friends to make them in November.  We go to a local Bible camp.  They have motel type rooms and the best food ever.  Can't wait to go again this year.

Time well spent with my Sister

On August 21, I went to see my Sweet Sister.  One of the many fun things we did while I was by her was to see a huge field of sunflowers.  It was just beautiful - just like her.  I spent a week with her and totally enjoyed myself. We went shopping, got coffee at Caribou coffee, went to the dairy in Wisconsin, went to dinner and enjoyed her 2 beautiful girls.  I so wish that she didn't live so far away from me.  Five states is just way to far. This girl and I have known each other since High School. Facebook brought us together again after life separated us.  I am so thankful.  I was not fond of the flying idea but my travel agent suggested first class.  It was a game changer.  Comfortable and easy to manage.  Had rides to and from to the airport from special friends that made my life easier.  I would love to see her again - not next year cause the mountains are calling and I must go but the year after for sure.

Gypsy

Today was the first time I used my Gypsy that I bought at a wonderful price at Michael's on Thanksgiving. I am making a few centerpieces for gifts and cut out a boy penguin, a girl penguin, a snowflake and a sign that says chill out. I cut these all at the same time and makes cutting with the Cricut so much faster and easier. I have to thank Kim for helping me use the Gypsy. I really had fun with that. I will try to post pictures when I am done or close to it.

Old Blog New Times

Hi Everyone! I am starting over. I had a blog here but it was all about when Steve and I were married and now since we are no longer married, it needed to change. We have gotten a divorce and I am now living with my Parent's in Florida.
